Rights of the Interested Parties
This section details the rights that, as an interested party, can be exercised before the Zaragoza City Council in relation to the BIZI Service. To exercise these rights, the interested party must communicate with the BIZI Service of the Zaragoza City Council through the email address infobizi@bizi.zaragoza.es, indicating in the “Subject” field the text “Personal data rights management”. To make the request, it is required to prove the identity of the person exercising their rights by sending a scanned copy of their DNI, NIE, Passport, or equivalent document (both sides).
Right to Information At the time prior to the collection of personal data, the interested party must be informed concisely, transparently, intelligibly, and in an easily accessible manner; with clear and simple language, among other aspects, of the legitimacy and purpose for which the data is collected and the uses that will be made of it, as well as the possibility of exercising their rights with the identification of the data controller.
Right to Withdraw Consent If the interested party has given consent for the processing of personal data for one or more purposes, they have the right to withdraw their consent at any time (without affecting the legality of the processing before its withdrawal). To withdraw consent, the interested party can contact the BIZI Service of the Zaragoza City Council in the same way they provided their consent initially, or send the corresponding request to the data controller.
Right of Access and Rectification Throughout the duration of the data processing, the interested party can access the data or request the correction of inaccurate data. They also have the right to request all relevant details about the processing of their personal data. In the event of any modification of the interested party’s data, the BIZI Service of the Zaragoza City Council would appreciate written communication of the same, in order to keep them duly updated.
Right to Data Portability Throughout the duration of the data processing, the interested party can request a copy of the data, provided in a way that respects the rights and privacy of others. This means that the interested party has the right to receive such data in a portable format (structured, commonly used, and machine-readable) and to have such data transferred to them or, when technically feasible, directly to another Data Controller.
Right to Object The interested party can object to the processing of their personal data in relation to their situation. This is relevant whenever the processing is based on legitimate interests.
Individual Decision-Making To be more effective in managing information, the BIZI Service of the Zaragoza City Council may, in some cases, use tools that automate both the processing of personal data and the classification of data, based on relevant criteria. However, no decisions based on automated processing that could produce legal effects on the interested parties or significantly affect them are executed at any time.
Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten) The interested party can request that their personal data be deleted and not processed. In the case of certain data processing, it is not possible to delete the data, as, even if the user is unsubscribed, it is necessary to keep the data for historical and/or statistical purposes.
Right to Restriction of Processing Instead of deletion, the interested party may request to restrict their data. The further processing of restricted data can only be carried out with their consent or for reasons expressly stipulated in applicable legislation. The company will stop processing the data, except for compelling legitimate reasons or the exercise or defense of possible claims. If restriction is not possible because the BIZI Service of the Zaragoza City Council needs that data and is legally authorized or required to process it, the interested party will be expressly informed of these reasons. They will also be informed before the restriction is lifted.
Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority If the interested party considers that the processing of their personal data infringes European Union legislation or their rights are not properly addressed, they have the right to lodge a complaint with the corresponding supervisory authority (in the EU Member State of their habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement). In the case of Spain, this is the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
